Holiday gift cards burning a hole in your pocket? Already bought as many books as your shelves can hold? (That’s okay…buy more books!) Check out 7 of my favorite bookish shops and sites for your closet, home, and office.
Get the text of your favorite book on all kinds of amazing swag. And I mean a lot of text…up to 40,000 words…and a lot of swag…shirts, scarves, tote bags, posters, and more. (So, you know, if you’re stranded on a desert island you’ll have your book and your clothes.) I’m the proud owner of a Pride and Prejudice scarf, a Throne of Glass T-shirt, and a super cool Secret Garden poster.
2. Out of Print
Speaking of clothes, Out of Print has always been a go-to for me. They have tons of fun gifts and clothing featuring beloved books. My “When in doubt, go to the library” Harry Potter shirt is always a hit!
Okay, yes, technically these are books. But these hardcover, classic-look editions are also perfect for showing off as part of your interior design. I’m working on my Jane Austen shrine as we speak.
4. Book Riot
Book Riot is best known as a book-lover content site, but they also have some seriously cool merchandise available. I personally love the BYOB tote bag…bring your own book.
5. Etsy Shop: Book Styles
Make your books a statement piece in your house. Book Styles gives you dozens of options for decorative and vintage books. I’ve also heard of folks using these as wedding centerpieces!
6. Esty Shop: Just Chugging Along
I just ordered a set of these most excellent book quote tiles to display on my new bookshelf. Can’t wait to put them up!
7. Etsy Shop: Letter Lounge
Another great spot for home décor is the Letter Lounge shop, where you can order reclaimed books trimmed into letters and symbols that make a great conversation piece.
